Albert Einstein is a well-known genius in the world. But in his early years, he didn't seem to be that smart
It is said that little Eistein didn't like to talk much. So he was often ignored by his teacher and classmates.
One day in an art and crafts class, the students were asked to show what they could make ny themselves.
many students showed nice things like plasticine models, cloth dolls, etc, but Einstein had nothing to hand in.
The second day Einstein brought a roughly-made little stool to his teacher. Of course the teacher was not happy with it. So she said,"Could there be another worse stool than this in the world?" All the classmates burst into laugher.
Einstein answered calmed, "Yes, there could be." Then he took out two uglier stools from his schoolbag and said,
"These two were made earlier. The one I handed in to you was made the third time. Though it is still poor,it is better than the other two." The teacher was greatly moved by his words,From then on , she looked at him with quite different eyes.
From Eistein's story,we learnt that we must be honest and confident with ourselves, even if we are laughed at by others. We can also learnt that genius is one percent of inspiration and 99 per cent of perspiration.
