      Everybody can do something to help protect our environment. At home you can recycle things made of paper,plastic,metal or glass, such as cans and bottles. You can use kitchen waste,such as fruit or vegetable peelings,to make fertilizer for the garden. This means that less rubish is taken away and buried underground. it also means that fewer natural resources are used to make new things. When cans are recycled,people can use the metal to make cars and computers. New books can be printed on recylced paper.

     you save electricity by switching off lights and other things when you are not using them.There are also many ways for you to save water. For example,don not leave the tap running while you clean your teeth. When you wash fruit or vegetables,do not throw the water away.Keep it for the plants in your garden.

    Most people use their cars more often than they need to.This wastes fuel and pollutes the environment. It is also bad for the people themselves.

     人人都能为保护环境做些事，在家您可以重复使用纸品，塑料，金属，玻璃，如罐子，瓶子你能使用餐厨垃圾，如蔬果皮做花池的肥料，这意味着更少的垃圾被带走和掩埋地下，也意味着更少的自然资源被用作制造新产品，当罐罐被回收，人们能用该金属制造汽车，电脑。新书能由回收的纸印刷出来。
    当您不需要时，您可以关灯或别的东西以节电，也有很多方式去节约水，比如，当您刷牙时，不要让水龙头开着，当您洗蔬菜水果时，不要倒掉水，保存起来给花池里的植物。
   大多数人动不动就使用私家车，这浪费燃料，污染环境，对人类也是有害的。
