关于限制屏幕时间父母要做表率的英语阅读

     Do you like playing smart phone? Do you often keep your eyes on these screens all day long? A news reports, “Children should avoid screen time for at least an hour before bedtime and parents should also do so. Parents must tell young people not to spend too long on smart phones, tablets or in watching television. Because they don't do good to sleep patterns.”

     In the UK first, some schools help parents control their children's screen time. They know too much time on screen can let people have less healthy diet and poorer mental health. But no one proves that screen time is directly toxic to health. Dr. Max Davie said that children learn from their parents' example. He said: "If you are keeping on using screens yourself, it is very difficult to control your children's screen use. If parents want to control the family's screen time, they need to control their own screen time.” So parents should set a good example for kids.
     Too much screen time make kids stay at home, do less sports and become tired. For parents, they can do many things to avoid screen time. They can take children to go outings, meet friends, do exercise and enjoy delicious food outside.

   你喜欢玩智能手机吗?你整天眼睛盯着屏幕吗?一则新闻报道说,“孩子们至少在睡前一小时应避免荧屏时光,并且父母们也应该如此。父母必须告诉年轻人不要花费太久时间在智能手机、平板及电视上。因为它们对于睡眠质量不好。”
 
   首先在英国,一些学校帮助父母们控制孩子的荧屏时光,他们知道太多荧屏时光会让人们有更少的健康饮食及更差的精神健康。不过没人证明荧屏时光直接损害健康。戴维斯博士说孩子们模仿父母的例子,他说:“如果你自己一直持续使用荧屏,就很难去控制你孩子使用荧屏,如果父母想要控制整个家庭的荧屏时光,他们需要控制他们自己的荧屏时光。”所以父母应该率先垂范给孩子们。
